Watznew will notify you of changes to websites and forums, about new mail in your web or POP mailbox, about new versions, stock quotes, currency exchange rates and weather conditions. The program uses flexible search patterns ( analogues of regular expressions) to choose from the pages of only the necessary information and display it in a compact format. In addition to alerts when a change is detected, WatzNew can automatically run external applications, passing the occurrences of the string as parameters, run the browser or email client. The program supports operation through a proxy that is able to synchronize time on atomic clock, is fully customizable, multilingual user interface, integration with Perl language. There is a Russian version of the program and a Russian-language technical support.
