Console transcoder - transcoding utility for text files from 866 encoding (DOS ) in 1251 encoding ( WIN) and back. Has a simple syntax. Identifies the file type text or not. Non-text files, such as executables or libraries, not processes. When run without parameters displays help information, and also provides an opportunity to open a new command prompt in the current directory. Can be used for batch transcoding using scripts (.bat,.cmd ). Sample command scripts are on the website of the author.
